An associate developer certification (CLAD) that must expire in November. I am a PhD student and went to school, so I never took advantage of the certification. However, I have a friend who has an associate developer certification and has worked for Caterpillar. He asked his superiors if he would benefit from certification as a developer (CLAD) and they replied that he didn't care about his certification and that this would not improve his job opportunities.
