You can view data for up to the last 13 months, forecast how much you're likely to spend for the next 12 months, and get recommendations for what Reserved Instances to purchase. The AWS Quick Sight is just a BI tool which can be used to analyze ANYTHING, not only AWS Costs. As AWS Cost Explorer generates charts and is able to process data bact 13 months, it is the right answer here
